AllRights - The art of securing web contentNow more than ever before the impact of technology is significant in changing the way of doing business.

For publishers, and other owners of premium content, the World Wide Web has opened up new ways to reach customers. However this new approach brings with it the need to protect valuable content from unauthorized use, redistribution and trading.

To effectively respond to these very serious and valid issues, C. D. I. Systems has introduced - AllRights - a robust stand-alone Digital Rights Management solution that protects content within a standard web browser with a high level of granularity while enabling the publisher to control customer privileges and to safeguard web resources against unauthorized access.

Most existing methods for protecting digital content focus on the use of a proprietary reader; to decrypt and control access. Other methods provide a DRM solution as a service that usually is not cost effective and requires a high level of integration.

Customers are usually discouraged from using these methods because of the inconvenience of having to download cumbersome clients onto their local computer.

Publishers too are unsatisfied with such solutions since in a service based environment they no longer have complete control over their own content.

AllRights incorporates a thin, but highly secure, browser-based approach enabling content owners to assign security controls on individual resources and on specific customers.

Standard browsing functions like viewing, copying, screen capturing, saving and printing can be independently authorized or denied. No cumbersome installation is needed, and, having used the system once all subsequent uses are completely transparent to the customer.

AllRights integrates seamlessly to Microsoft`s Internet Information Services (IIS) thus enabling the publisher to control customer privileges and to safeguard web resources against unauthorized access or use.
